ACMI Leasing

Globejet Airlines specializes in wet leasing its aircraft, both on a long-term and short-term basis.  The aircraft are contracted at a fixed hourly rate on an ACMI basis, providing our clients with:

• Aircraft
• Crew
• Maintenance
• Insurance    

We are responsible for providing our clients with the Aircraft and Crew, as well as covering the Maintenance and Insurance costs.

Aircrafts are flown under the customers’ own flight number and call sign, ensuring them full control over all other operational matters.  Essentially, our clients are provided with a turn key aircraft ready to fly to the destination of their choice.  They are responsible for the following:

• Fuel
• Landing fees
• Navigation fees
• Catering
• Aircraft parking
• Overflight permits
• All ground operations (including passenger and/or cargo loading and off loading costs)
• Crew accommodations, ground transportation, meals, and per diem.

Short Term Wet Leasing

A short term wet lease can range from a one day to three month contract. 

The short-term ACMI lease is advantageous in situations where:

• A new market is to be tested over a short period, and a long-term commitment is not yet feasible
• There is a gap to be filled between the retiring of one aircraft and delivery of another
• Peak periods (ie. Hajj, sporting events, holidays seasons) require additional capacity
• There is an immediate aircraft on ground (AOG) requirement

Long Term Wet Leasing

A long term wet lease is a minimum three month contract.

Wet Leasing on a long-term basis is advantageous to the customer in that operational costs are minimized, thus allowing for lower hourly rates.  Once the Lessee guarantees a certain number of block hours per month, a rate suitable to each party can be negotiated accordingly.

Globejet Airlines also provides a complete turnkey operation, whereby the following is provided to the customer:

• Fuel
• Landing fees
• Navigation fees
• Catering
• Aircraft parking
• Overflight permits
• All ground operations (including passenger and/or cargo loading and off loading costs)
• Crew accommodations

This type of leasing allows the customer to focus on the commercial end of their business, not the actual operation of the aircraft.  It is a worry-free solution for those looking to arrange a series of tours, increase an existing route without having the extra capabilities, start a new venture without having the operational know-how, or organize mass movements of people for humanitarian or religious purposes (ie. UN transports, military transports or Hajj).
